• This course takes an in-depth look at the importance of understanding the dental management of patients with mental health conditions and the role of the general dental practitioner. The different mental health conditions that can present, the clinical presentations and dental management tips are discussed.
• You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.
• If you achieve a score of 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident to do so. 

This course aims to enable learners to understand the different types of mental health conditions, the associated dental implications, the role of the general dental practitioner and the referral pathway for mental health patients to specialist dental services.
