Course Details

• This course takes a look at how Treatment Coordinators can communicate effectively with patients. 
• You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download.
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

This course aims to identify aspects of good communication and outline the importance of this in a healthcare setting. 

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

• Identify what is meant by effective communication.
• Identify different aspects of communication.
• Adapt their communication style to suit their patient to enable effective communication to take place.
• Be confident in their communication delivery.

• The implications of consent and the significance of informed consent.
