Course Details

• This course takes an in-depth look at the types of flap design in implant dentistry.
• You will be presented with a short video followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download.
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

This course aims to provide an overview of the types of flap designs in implant dentistry and highlight what can go wrong using case studies.

• Detail the importance of appropriate surgical planning.
• Take a systematic approach to analysing a patient from a surgical viewpoint.
• Provide an overview of the types of flaps used in implant dentistry.
• Describe what can go wrong with improper planning.
