Course Details

• This course provides an overview of health and safety signage within the workplace.
• You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

The aim of the course is to raise awareness of how health and safety information is communicated in the workplace.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

• Detail legislation covering safety signage.
• Determine actions to be taken when observing signs.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course the learner understands:

• The six categories of safety signage.
• The requirement for acoustic signals.
• The relevance of illuminated signs.
