Course Details

  • Level two safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is suitable for clinical staff
  • This course looks at understanding the dental professional's responsibilities surrounding the safeguarding of patients. The course provides learners with an understanding on practice protocols and procedures which should be in place.
  • You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.
  • If you achieve 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a certificate. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident.

Aims

This course aims to ensure dental professionals understand their professional responsibilities when it comes to safeguarding patients against harm or abuse.

The course outlines the practice protocols and procedures which should be in place for effective safeguarding.
