Course Details

  • Level 1 Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults is suitable for non- clinical staff.
  • This course looks at understanding the dental professional's responsibilities surrounding safeguarding patients. It provides learners with an understanding of the practice protocols and procedures which should be in place.
  • You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.
  • If you achieve 80% or more you pass the course and will receive a certificate. 
  • If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and take the assessment again when you feel confident.

     

Aims

This course aims to ensure professionals working in the dental industry understand their professional responsibilities when it comes to safeguarding patients against harm or abuse.

The course will outline the practice protocols and procedures which should be in place for effective safeguarding measures.
