- Explain the dose limitation principles of Justification, Optimisation and Limitation
- Give details of the radiation dose limits for patients and staff
- Describe the practical radiation protection measures used for patients and staff
- Explain the biological effects of radiation
Learning Outcomes
The Certificate in Dental Radiography course is formulated to give dental nurses the qualification to enable them to act under prescription as an IR(ME)R operator, in order to safely take intra-oral and extra-oral radiographs of patients.
