• This course takes an in-depth look at ridge preservation techniques following tooth removal.
• You will be presented with a lecture followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

This course aims to provide general dental practitioners with an understanding of ridge changes following tooth removal and the benefits of ridge preservation.

• Understand the rationale for choosing different bone grafting treatments with the emphasis on evidence-based dentistry.
• Appreciate the role of different strategies utilised during open wound healing to achieve predictable outcomes.
