Course Details

  • This course takes an in-depth look at the practical knowledge and skills required by supervisory receptionists to ensure that the reception team work together effectively to provide a supportive and user-friendly administrative base for the practice. 
  • You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
  • Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
  • If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

The aim of this course is to:

  • Highlight the role of the lead receptionist.
  • Highlight the receptionist's role in developing services.
  • Look at team communication requirements.
  • Define aspects of collecting and recording patients payments.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

  • Recognise how to develop effective services.
  • Understand the impact of regulatory requirements on training for receptionists.
  • Create procedures for communicating financial aspects of care to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient payment records.
