Course Details

  • The course helps to understand your responsibilities when it comes to raising concerns and how to go about it in line with the GDC standards. 
  • You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
  • Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
  • If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

This course aims to bring together information sources and provide guidance on how to respond when an individual has concerns about the health, performance or behaviour of a dental professional or the practice environment.

Objectives

During this course learners will:

  • Know how to access advice and guidance when they have concerns about patient safety.
  • Be confident to take decisive remedial action if appropriate.
  • Ensure practice policies and procedures are fit for purpose.
