Course Details

• This course provides an essential introduction to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and its importance for dental practices handling cardholder data. It is designed to raise awareness of data security best practices and compliance requirements, helping dental teams understand the relevance of PCI DSS to their daily operations.
• While this course serves as a foundational overview, it is not a substitute for formal PCI DSS training or certification. For detailed guidance and to meet full compliance obligations, participants should consult qualified PCI compliance professionals or their payment service providers and undertake additional training or assessments as needed.
• You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.
• If you achieve a score of 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident to do so.
