Course Details

This module will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and include the following elements. 

• A set of goals and learning aims to improve your awareness of menopause
• You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

This course provides an understanding and awareness of the term menopause and what advice is available for women to manage menopausal symptoms. 

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to

• Understand what is meant by the term menopause.
• Understand the advice available for women about menopause.
• Understand the benefits of HRT.
• Understand non-hormonal treatments.

 After completing this course, the learner will gain an understanding of:

• The term menopause
• The advice available for women about menopause
• The benefits of HRT
• The benefits of non-hormonal treatments
• Employers' legal obligations to people going through the menopause.
