Course Details

• This course takes an in depth look at employees rights relating to flexible working applications and the process for employers to follow to manage those requests.
• You will be presented with a lecture followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

The aim of this course is to increase understanding of the correct process for handling flexible working requests, to help managers comply with employment legislation.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

• Discuss employee rights relating to the flexible working application process.
• Highlight the risks of refusing a request, relating to one or more of the 'specified reasons'.
• Explore useful policies and template letters to help practices comply with their legal obligations.
