Management of Worn Anterior Teeth

Course Details

• This course takes an in-depth look at the management of worn anterior teeth and the dilemma in terms of the correct management, best use of materials, most conservative approach and management of failure. 
• You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.
• If you achieve 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a printable certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident.

Aims

This course aims to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of the dilemma faced that worn anterior teeth can pose in terms of the correct management, best use of materials, most conservative approach and management of failure. 

Objectives

 During this course learners will be able to:

• Understand that localised anterior wear has a number of etiological factors.
• Identify the appropriate cause.
• Outline methods of management specific to the cause.
• Highlight cases using a variety of different materials.
• Explain failure and how this was managed.
