Course Details

• This course aims to help learners understand LGBTQ issues and how to apply this knowledge in their daily working lives.
• You will be presented with a presentation followed by an assessment. If you achieve 80% or more, you pass the course and receive a printable certificate to place in your CPD folder.
• If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident.

Aims

This course aims to help learners understand LGBTQ issues and the importance of human rights, equality and diversity, and the laws which protect people against discrimination. 

Objectives

• Important definitions relating to LGBTQ people
• What proportion of people in the UK identify as LGBTQ
• Why it is important to be aware of LGBTQ issues
