Course Details

• This course will provide the dental team with an introduction to teeth whitening treatments. 
• You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.
• If you achieve a score of 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident to do so. 

Aims

 The aim of this courses is to provide the dental team with an introduction to teeth whitening and to help them implement these treatments into their dental practice.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to understand:

• The different teeth whitening treatments and formulas available in the UK.
• The laws and regulations to carry out teeth whitening in the UK.
• The different types of staining and when whitening can be used.

Learning Outcomes

After completing this course the learner will gain an understanding of:

• How to identify the different teeth whitening formulas available in the UK.
• The laws and regulations on teeth whitening in the UK.
• How to discuss the different types of staining and when whitening can be used for each.
