Course Details
- This course is aimed at GDC registered dental professionals with the added scope of practice for impression taking to develop and enhance impression techniques and underpin the knowledge needed to decontaminate and store dental impressions.
- You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
- Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download.
- If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.
Aims
The aim of this course is to help dental professionals develop and enhance their impression techniques and update their knowledge on decontamination and storage of dental impressions.
Objectives
During this course learners will be able to:
- Set up a surgery for impression taking.
- Select correct trays for impression taking.
- Decontaminate and store dental impressions.
