Immunisations in the Dental Practice

Course Details

• This course provides a basic understanding of the range of immunizations recommended for clinical and non-clinical healthcare workers. 
• You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

This course aims to provide a basic understanding of the recommended range of immunizations for clinical and non-clinical healthcare workers.

• Explain what is meant by immunization.
• List the recommended vaccinations for clinical healthcare workers.
• List the recommended vaccinations for non-clinical healthcare workers.
• Outline employer's responsibilities for vaccinations.
• Understand the booster frequency for the hepatitis B vaccine.
