Course Details

• This course takes learners through the indications and rights of employment for workers and self-employed workers.
• You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

 The aim of this course is to help learners understand the difference between employment and self-employment.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

• Distinguish between the factors that determine employment or self-employment
• Distinguish what rights apply to each category of worker

After completing this course the learner will gain an understanding of:

• What type of employment relationship should be applied to a job
• Whether someone would be classed as an employee, a worker, or self employed
