Course Details

• This course takes you through the processes of managing sickness and absence in the workplace.
• You will be presented with a short video followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

The aim of this course is to increase understanding of how to effectively manage sickness absence and to help managers comply with legislation.

• Explain the law relating to sickness absence.
• Describe the risks of failing to follow a fair sickness absence management process.
• Explore useful policies and template letters to help practices comply with their legal obligations.
