Course Details

• This course takes an in-depth look at how General Dental Council registrants can create a personal development plan that meets both regulatory requirements and drives career aspirations. 
• You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

The aim of this course outlines the necessity of creating a personal development plan in line with General Dental Council regulations.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

• Identify the fundamental requirements of a personal development plan (PDP).
• Identify the requirements in line with the enhanced CPD scheme.
• Understand the importance of an effective PDP.

After completing this course the learner will gain an understanding of:

• How to assess their current strengths and weaknesses.
• How to apply this information to implement personal development goals.
• How to assess their skills in line with General Dental Council Standards for the Dental Team.
