  • You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
  • Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to dowmload. 
  • If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

The aim of this course provides information about managing a heart attack and providing good patient care before and after the attack.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

  • Recognize the sign and symptoms of a potential heart attack in patients attending for dental treatment.
  • Respond immediately to a patient suffering from a heart attack.
  • Care for the patient in an appropriate way following practice protocols.

  • The management of a patient with a possible heart attack.
