Course Details

• This course outlines practice requirements for first aid equipment and administration. 
• You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download.
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

The aim of this course is to ensure dental professionals understand the requirements for first aid administration and equipment.

During this course learners will be able to:

• Create their own first aid risk assessment.
• Confidently conduct a first aid risk assessment.
• Understand practice responsibilities for first aid.
• Outline hazards within a dental environment.
• Complete appropriate documentation following an incident.
