Course Details

• This course takes you through age discrimination in the workplace and how to reduce the risk of tribunal claims.
• You will be presented with a lecture followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment. 

Aims

The aim of this course is to increase your understanding of how to prevent age discrimination in the workplace and reduce the risk of a tribunal claim.

Objectives

Learners will be able to:

• Discuss employee rights and the four types of age discrimination.
• Highlight the risks associated with discriminatory behaviour in the workplace.
• Explore useful policies and the use of template letters to help practices comply with their legal obligations.
