• This course takes an in-depth look at the importance of mastering suturing in implant dentistry.
• You will be presented with a short video followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download.
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Objectives

• Discuss the types of sutures available on the market.
• Detail the differences in sutures.
• Discuss the sutures routinely used in implant dentistry.
• Describe the difference between monofilament and multifilament sutures.
• Perform simple interrupted, horizontal mattress and vertical mattress suture.
