Course Details

• This recorded webinar offers a personal story of the devastating impact of suicide on family, friends and colleagues and asks how we might do better in preventing suicide at home, in education, at work and in our communities.
• You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.
• If you achieve 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a printable certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident to do so.

Aims

This course highlights the devastating impact of suicide on family, friends, and colleagues and how learners can implement changes in their own lives to ensure a positive approach to mental health and wellbeing.

• Understand the factors influencing suicidal behaviour in the UK population
• Be aware of suicide prevention and suicide postvention initiatives
• Be challenged to implement changes in their own lives to ensure a positive approach to mental health and wellbeing.
