Course Details

Oxygen cylinder training has always formed part of our annual BLS in practice.  Due to a recent MHRA alert, it has identified the importance of specific training for certain cylinders and the need for this to take place more often.

Aims

To be able to use oxygen cylinders in practice correctly and safely

Objectives

• To understand how to use your oxygen cylinder
• To be able to explain how to connect the mask and tubing to the cylinder
• To be able to explain what to do when it becomes empty

To be able to safely handle, store and operate oxygen cylinders in compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
