Course Details

• This course provides information on the probationary period process and its critical role within an organisation.
• You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.
• If you achieve a score of 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident to do so.

This course aims to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of the probationary period process and its value to an organisation.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

• Discuss the foundations of good management during a probationary period and how this can aid long term performance and retention.
• Increase confidence and skills to manage employees during their probationary period.
• Be aware of the legal pitfalls.
