Course Details

- You will be presented with a lecture followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.

Aims
This course aims to provide learners with an understanding of the legislation and associated protocols pertaining to transportation, packaging and storage of instruments in the dental environment.
Objectives
During this course learners will be able to:
- Discuss the attributes of transportation boxes.
- Explain the protocols for leaving instruments overnight.
- Discuss storage periods and the relevant local legislation.
- Outline pouching requirements for both vacuum and non-vacuum sterilisers.
