Course Details

• This course explores the main changes in the IADT 2020 Guidelines for the Management of Traumatic Dental Injuries, with the goal of improving treatment outcomes by following the latest evidence-based guidance.
• You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.
• If you achieve 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a printable certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident.

Aims

This course aims to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of the main changes in the IADT 2020 Guidelines for the Management of Traumatic Dental Injuries, with the goal of improving treatment outcomes by following the latest evidence-based guidance.

• Outline he main changes to management of dental trauma brought about by the 2020 International Association of Dental Traumatology guidelines.
• Understand methods for assessing and treating traumatic dental injuries in both the primary and permanent dentition.
• Explain appropriate follow-up protocols for patients with dental trauma.
