Course Details

• This course provides an in-depth look at fluoride and the history of its use in modern-day dentistry. 
• You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a downloadable certificate.
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

The aim of this course is to ensure that members of the dental team understand the appropriate use of fluoride in dentistry.

Learners will be able to:

• Describe the uses of fluoride in dentistry.
• Consider the effects of fluorosis.
• Understand which dental professionals are authorized to administer topical fluoride to patients.
