Course Details

• This course covers the management fainting in the dental practice.  
• You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download. 
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

The aim of this course is to understand how to manage a faint in the dental practice.

Objectives

Learners will be able to:

• Recognize the signs and symptoms of a faint in patients attending for dental treatment.
• Respond immediately to a patient suffering from a faint.
• Provide appropriate care for a patient following practice protocols.
