• This course reviews key areas of endodontics, providing clinical guidance on examination, diagnosis, and provision of non-surgical root canal treatment.
• You will be presented with a short video followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download.
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

This course aims to update the dental team on current endodontic practice.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

• Use radiographs to diagnose complex endodontic problems.
• Isolate teeth using a rubber dam.
• Locate root canals effectively.
• Establish a working length using an electronic apex locator.
• Use rotary guide path files.
• Use appropriate materials for obturation of root canals.
• Prescribe an appropriate definitive restoration after root treatment.
