Course Details

• This course takes an in-depth look at the responsibilities of those referring or delegating work and the responsibilities of dental registrants accepting referred or delegated work. 
• You will be presented with a lecture followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download.
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

This course aims to define requirements for external referrals whilst highlighting appropriate work allocation and delegation within the practice.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

• Identify suitable delegations and work referrals in line with GDC Scope of Practice.
• Implement delegations and ensure that work referrals are appropriate.
• Record processes to ensure that monitoring processes are in place for quality assurance purposes.
